Drew and Beth slept together to comfort each other at the age of only 16. Beth was pregnant and Drew was scared to tell his parents and afraid that he disrespected Beth.
When Beth's father and Drew's fathe, Shawn, found out they tried to help them out. When Beth and Drew decided to cheer each other up they decided to go on Shawn's boat. Then they hit a rock and were almost drowned, fortunately Bart and Shawn saved them.
Drew and Beth ended up in a coma, and when they woke up Bart demanded Beth leave Drew. Drew decided to end the feud and walk away. He was devasated to learn that Beth and commited suicide and it was all his fault. He was glad she was still alive. But then he dated Anna King.
Beth was jealous of Anna but never made it known. But Beth's friends, Holly, Ashley, and Katie tried to get Beth and Drew back together. At the Krueger wedding at Fiji it became known that the two were getting back together. That summer they did. But Anna wasn't happy about it.
When school began Drew began to drink when he became friends with Damien Ross. When he almost killed himself and Anna he decided to quit and Bart once again attempted to break them up. Anna left town with Sonya and Beth and Drew were fine. Then when Drew's dad and his then lover Carrie Hall were almost killed by Meg, Drew tried to find his dad, when he did Drew was badly injured in the emergency vehicle.
When he woke up he found that his father was then again dating Meg! and that Carrie had died!
Anna came back to town on graduation. After Graduation, Beth and Drew again slept together. But Drew broke up with her knowing that he might not see her again because of her going to Paris.
Beth was pregnant but left early. He and Anna our now dating.
