Description: When Liz and Rob were married and she had Liz, life was hard for her to handle so she left. 16 years later Dolores gave birth to her grandbaby Joel Martinez-Malley and didn't even know it! Rob then recognized her and he told Liz. Dolores was reluctant to go back into the life she had before but decided to give Rob and Liz a chance.
After many months Rob and Dolores finally had a chance of getting back the love that they had once shared. But when on skydiving trip Rob disappeared. Dolores later found him on an island close to the caribbean, but Rob didn't find her and was rescued. Dolores was stuck and met a man named Dakota who fell in love with her and claimed that he was a fugitive from South America and needs a green card, and to get that he need a wife.
When Dakota and Dolores got back to the island Rob was jealous and right in front of Rob, Dakota proposed to Dolores! Dolores needed time. But Liz and Rob gave he a chance to choose them or Dakota, it was hard knowing Dakota's situation and then her family.
Liz and Rob then disowned Dolores and Dolores then accepted Dakota's proposal and at the wedding Rob came and took Dolores out of the chapel. He asked her again to leave Dakota. When a fire set by Dakota almost endangered Joel and Rob had almost died Liz was scared, but didn't know that he had set it.
Dakota then presented Dolores with a forged document stating that he had a certain amount of time before he was deported. But after a month had past Dolores and Liz got suspicious and found evidence that he was lying. When Liz was on trial for Murder Liz gave custody of Joel to Dakota in case she went to prison. Dolores went over to Dakota's alone and presented the evidence. Dakota then kidnapped Joel and Dolores and took them to the island where they met. He explained that he owned the island and that he's turning it into a resort.
Liz and Rob went to find the two. Then a hurricane hit the island. After several months the hurricane ended and Dakota was killed and Joel became weak. Dolores tended to her in the nearest city. But there wasn't enough supplies. Joel became limp and began to bleed. They rushed to Miami where Joel resides in the hospital.
